Fariba Ferdous is a microbiologist. She has completed her BSc in microbiology from Jashore University of Science and Technology. She has an excellent work experience in development sectors. She has been contributing to BEDS as a team member since 2024. She has demonstrated expertise in program development, reporting and documentation, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to drive program success through effective planning and execution.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Identify and build relationships with key community stakeholders, including local leaders, groups, and individuals.

·         Conduct door to door visits, community meetings, and awareness sessions to introduce the project and its benefits to community members.

·         Collaborate with community members to codesign project interventions that are tailored to their needs and preferences.

·         Organize and facilitate skill development and training sessions for community members, enabling them to actively participate in project activities.

·         Provide guidance on livelihood related skills, entrepreneurship, and income generating opportunities.

·         Promote behavior change and positive attitudes toward project objectives, encouraging active participation and sustainability.

·         Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities in collaboration with project teams.

·         Ensure effective communication between project teams and the community to address challenges and opportunities.

·         Gather feedback from community members to ensure their voices are heard in project decision making.

·         Collect and document success stories, testimonials, and lessons learned from the community.
