Shraboni Deb brings a wealth of knowledge as a forestry expert and passionate about environmentalsustainability. She has been contributing to BEDS as a team member since 2023.She has actively contributed to various forestry projects, research and community initiatives aimed at promoting ecological balance, biodiversity conservation and sustainable utilization of natural resources. She has assisted in research and analysis on forestry-related issues, including forest ecology, biodiversity assessment, soil related project and National Forest Inventory (NFI). She completed her undergraduate and master's studies in Forestry and Wood Technology at Khulna University. She has taken part in various training sessions focused on forestry and environmental conservation.

 

Core Responsibilities:

·         Identify and build relationships with key community beneficiaries, including local leaders, groups and individuals.

·         Conduct door-to-door visits, community meetings and awareness sessions to introduce the project and its benefits to community members.

·         Collaborate with community members to co-design project interventions.

·         Organize and facilitate skill development and training sessions for community member.

·         Provide guidance on livelihood related skills and income generated opportunities.

·         Promote behavior change and positive attitudes towards project activities.

·         Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities in collaboration with project teams.

·         Ensure effectivecommunication between project teams and the community to address challenges and opportunities.

·         Gather feedback from community members to ensure their voices are heard in the project decision making.

·         Collect and document success stories, testimonials and lessons learned from the community.

Liaise with local organizations, government agencies and other stakeholders to enhance the projects reach and impact.
