Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is implementing the project titled *“Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (MSP) to Strengthen Transformative Processes in Shrimp Trade as a Basis for the Protection of Mangrove Ecosystems in South Asia”* in collaboration with Daimler, Global Nature Fund (GNF), Naturland, Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS), and the Collective Leadership Institute. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Germany.

As part of this initiative, our project partner in India, Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS), organized a webinar on **“Propagation of Culture of *Penaeus vannamei* in the Sundarbans: Potentials and Challenges”** on 26 November 2020 at 2:30 PM (Bangladesh Time).

The webinar served as a platform for stakeholders, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and sustainability considerations associated with *Penaeus vannamei* cultivation in the Sundarbans region.
